First snow of 2008

Today we woke up to about 2" of snow in our yard and it's still snowing so we have about 4" now...the kids had fun but they only stayed out for about 15 min. because it was toooo cold! Oh, it looks like Kylan is sticking his tongue out at me but he was trying to catch some snowflakes!!!

Good bye Gigi!

Gigi stayed with us for 3 months and now she has to go home so we had a shrimp boil and a game night so she could tell everyone good bye. We had a lot of fun!!! Wish everyone could have made it but hopefully next time! Take a look at Trix...the kids knocked the coats of the piano bench and he made himself right at home...everyone was saying go take a picture of him he looks so cute!

Also, Kylan lost his first top, front tooth so check out his new smile!!!

Tulsa Aquarium

We have been to the Tulsa aquarium the past 2 weeks in a row...last week was for home school days and the week before was so we could show it to Gigi. We always have a wonderful time and look forward to the next visit! Here are some of our favorite pics...Kylan loves the octopus and Kenzie the jellyfish and the starfish and if you know anything at all about me then you know I still love the sharks. I guess my dream of being a marine biologist probably won't ever happen but at least I can enjoy watching the sharks at the aquarium.

The zoo

I took the kids to the Tulsa zoo on Wed because it was in the mid 50's and we just couldn't resist being outside on such a beautiful day in the middle of winter! Look at the monkeys I took pics of and also the kids found a statue and look at what they were doing to it! Nasty kids!!!

The park

Saturday was so beautiful the weather was in the 70's so we took the kids to the park and they had a blast!

Happy New Year!!!

We had a small New Year's Eve party this year. Cheese and chocolate fondue was what we ate and then the adults played Mexican train dominoes...it was so much fun! If you want to come next year just let us know everyone is welcome! We toasted the New Year with sparkling apple cider for the kids and some adults!
