Happy Gotcha Day to Kylan!
The picture the newspaper ran about Kylan's homecoming.
The newpaper article...if you click on it you should be able to read it. It still brings tears to my eyes every time I read about his arrival!!

Yesterday was Kylan's 6th gotcha day! He really wanted to go to Incredible Pizza this year so we did! He had so much fun playing games and visiting with family. Since it was his special day everyone gave him their tickets (THANKS Korey, Tiffany and Makenzie) and he bought a camo lava lamp...he's so happy about it!
Grandpa took him on a go-cart ride, Grandma shared her tokens with him and Grammy took him around to play some games. Then after all of that we went to Grammy's and watched the video of Kylan and I arriving home from Korea! I can't believe it's been 6 yrs!!! Time flies when you have kids to love on!
If you don't know the miracle story of Kylan's adoption...just ask me sometime because it's an almost unbelievable story but we all know from Matthew 19: 26 " With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. "

Makenzie is released from the doctor!!!
We are so happy to let everyone know that Makenzie is sooooo much better now and has been released from the doctor. YEAH!!! Thanks to all of you that have been praying for Makenzie since her rollercoaster accident last fall. She was finally released and we are hoping to settle her medical bills with the insurance company in the next couple of weeks!
I am not sure if she will be going back to cheerleading or if she will try something else but we are just happy she's back to her old self! It has been a long road!!!

Coloring Easter eggs!
Makenzie was quite the artist it took her a lot longer to color each egg and it had to be just perfect!
Kylan was finished with his eggs very quickly!

OK, I was talking to some friends about coloring Easter eggs. One of them said she colors 2-3 dozen per child and then they pop them into the freezer and have hard boiled eggs anytime that they need them (I didn't know you could freeze hard boiled eggs but she says that are good) and then another friend only does 1 dozen for the whole family which gives 2 eggs per person! Now, we color 1 dozen per child and dad and I both end asking for a couple of eggs to color of our own. Some years we have colored and 18pk for each kid and that was a lot of eggs for our family...anyway, I have a poll going because I am just curious about what other families do. Please take the poll and enjoy our egg coloring pics!

Coming up with a new recipe for dinner
I have tried and tried to come up with new recipes for dinner because I think the kids are getting bored with the same thing every couple of weeks. We have tacos, spagettie, chicken pot pie, chilie dogs, chicken salad, soups and sandwiches, etc.
Anyway, I found this cool website it's www.supercook.com and if you type in the ingredients that you have it will bring up a ton of recipes and will then ask if you have (a certain ingredient) and if you click on it then it will bring up even more recipes. This has been so much fun and I have found some new recipes to try out. We are having one tonight...if the kids and Kevin like it then I will let you know! Try it out and email me what you think about it!

Kylan is so funny!
Today Kylan was playing in his room and I went to check on him because he was being really quiet. I walked in and he had all kinds of baskets and bowls and he had put t-shirts on them and stacked them on top of each other. I asked what he was doing and he said that while we were at EPCOT he saw some totem poles in the Canada area and thought he wanted to make one but his would have to have clothes on because they couldn't be naked in his bedroom! I thought that was soooo funny! Little minds come up with the funniest things!

Game night will never be the same!
OK! Game night at our house will never be the same! Kevin came home with a Wii last night after searching for several weeks and many false hopes he finally found one! We have had so much fun playing it...so next time we have game night the Wii will be part of it! If any of you have a Wii then let us know what your favorite games are. We are hoping to get Rock Band sometime in the future and that will be lots of fun!
Next game night I was thinking about having a taco night and everyone could bring a different topping for the tacos...let me know what you think!

On my birthday we went to EPCOT and my mom got me a button that says Happy Birthday Jennifer so all of the cast members are trained to look for the buttons and say "happy birthday" and sing songs and embarrass you! It was a fun day though and a birthday I won't ever forget! We all loved the ride Soarin' and it was amazing!
