Prairie Primer and lincoln logs
We are still making our way through the Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingalls Wilder with the Prairie Primer curriculum. This has been such a fun year the kids have learned about the 5 kingdoms, learning the states and their capitals, all about the human eye, how to sew, how frontier people lived, all about how the railroads changed the US, Braille, cooking and many many other things. We started getting the books on CD from our library so we could crochet while we all listened to the stories and the kids will also play with their Lincoln Logs while we listen and they have become very good at designing new log houses. Here are a few of my favorites!
